Chassidic culture and music embody a profound warmth, depth, and spiritual vitality that have long enriched the Jewish experience.
Songs of the Inspired Soul is a multimedia production that invites audiences into that world exploring the soulful melodies taught by the Lubavitcher Rebbe during the early morning hours of Simchas Torah nights between 1955 and 1965.
This unique program blends cinematic storytelling with the timeless elegance of live music with the Garrison String Quartet, creating a space where history and modernity, spirit and sound, past and present, intertwine. Through music and narrative, it brings to life the ethereal essence of these niggunim songs of the inspired soul.
This event coincides with the birthdates of the Chasidic Masters, the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe, the 18th day of the Hebrew month of Elul.
