What a beautiful Lag B’Omer! So many families came to enjoy the outdoor celebration on Sunday, April 28, 2013. As always, the food was plentiful and there were all kinds of fun activities for the children. Everyone loved Steve’s Magical Entertainment! Thanks to the fantastic volunteers who helped make this possible – Karen Edwards, Becca Edwards, Chana Pinkwas, Alon Yaari, Dan Nouriel, Michael Milman, Orit Cohen, Devora Lankin, and Shterny Fogelman. Special thanks to EVERYONE for making this the fastest ever clean-up! As soon as the event was over, everyone helped bring in tables, chairs, etc. and very soon, everything was back inside. Thanks Jeff Scolnik for some of the great photos!
This past Sunday over 65 women enjoyed the amazing Spa for Body and Soul. From the morning coffee and refreshments to the excellent workshops, to the keynote speaker, to the delicious lunch, and the spa stations, the women were inspired and loved being pampered. Many thanks to the wonderful committee who coordinated the event. Thanks to the event sponsors. Thanks to those who donated raffle prizes and to the workshop and spa stations.

Herbalism and How Does Judaism Smell was the topic of the recent event on Monday, Jan 14. This was the first in a six part series on Judaism Through The Senses held at the Chabad Center, coordinated by WELL - Women's Events of Living and Learning. The evening included text based learning, powerpoint, discussion and a wonderful hands-on presentation by Debka Janak. All in all the women enjoyed a great program and are looking forward to the next in the series - The Sound of Judaism, to be held on Monday, February 11.
