Indoor Megillah Readings - Chabad Center Natick

Welcome to Chabad Natick Synagogue! In consideration of the Pandemic, we have been in touch with the Natick Board of Health to discuss the guidelines. Thanks to a dedicated committee of individuals from our shul, we have taken precautions to make sure that we are in compliance and keeping everyone safe. Number of attendees per service are being limited. We have purchased and installed MERV-13 filters for the HVAC system. Naturally this has all been an investment of time, energy, and resources.

If you choose to join us at this time, please do your part to help keep everyone safe and healthy.

Reserve seats for indoor Megillah readings

I understand that with socially distanced set-up, seats and space in the shul are limited. I appreciate having my space at Chabad and would like to reserve my/our space for Purim. To ensure a seat for everyone in my family, I will list below the names of every single household member who will attend the Megillah readings. I will also reread the guidlelines.

If you don't need to have seats reserved for you for Purim - please email [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can free up your space for others who might need .

Current Shul Guidelines for Health and Safety

- Masks must be worn at all times
- Purell upon arriving
- Please stay home if - you are sick or experiencing symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell
- Please stay home if - you have been sick in the last 2 weeks
- Please stay home if - you have been around anyone with Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks
- Chairs will be designated by name for each individual who has signed up. Please use the chair that was assigned for you and do not use any other chair.
- Your seat will have a ziplock bag with your name on it, and it will include a Siddur, Chumash and Tehillim. Please leave on your chair after the service.
- Soft singing along with Chazan is fine but no loud singing
- Aliyot will be recited from your seat
- Chairs should remain 6 feet apart
- Bathrooms are available - please disinfect after use with provided spray
- Please exit the building after the service - do your best to stay 6 feet apart at all times
- Upstairs, downstairs and the conference room are off limits
- No hand shaking or hugging
- If G‑d forbid, anyone develops symptoms, and tests positive for Covid shortly after attending shul, they will immediately contact Rabbi, who will then inform the other members of that minyan that there might have been potential exposure.

Regarding the Children - we look forward to being able to able to once again provide Shabbat children's programming and supervision when it will be possible. As this is impossible right now, please keep in mind the following and make sure that your children are informed of the protocol before allowing them to come. All the above, including social distance requirements of 6 ft apart, plus below, applies for the children.

- Children are encouraged to attend only if they can remain seated in their assigned seat in the shul room
- There is currently no supervision for children - each parent is responsible for his/her child(ren) at all times
- Parents bringing children must make sure that children understand clearly what is expected
