About this program
The Babylonian Talmud is not just a book to be read â€" it is a room to enter. The Bavli Boardroom invites adults to step inside one of its most extraordinary stories and take a seat at the table.
On Shavuot night â€" the night we celebrate receiving the Torah â€" we grapple with the question the Talmud itself asks: now that Torah is ours, who decides what it means?
Every participant takes on the role of a Talmudic sage. You will argue, vote, and live with the consequences of your ruling. No prior Talmud study required. All backgrounds welcome.
