Another amazing week at GEO!
๐ Mazel tov to Eliana for becoming a Blue Aleph Champ! We love seeing the kids so motivated to keep reaching new milestones.
๐งตโจ Sewing and Science were on the agenda, along with an incredible Magic Shticks & Tricks session with Shiya—so much invisible action going on! Wait… how is that moving?! ๐คฏ
๐ฅ๐ฌ Challah b'Ivrit was a highlight! Special guest Morah Orly joined us for an immersive Hebrew experience, sharing the story of Rabbi Chanina ben Dosa’s miraculous challahs. The kids learned their challah ingredients in Hebrew (kemach, mayim, shemen, shmarim...) and, of course, baked their own!
Next up: We are looking forward to next week - Our Early Release Day Field Trip! ๐
๐ Super Jews Monday: The kids are mastering their mitzvah powers! They reviewed Hashem & Me, Neshama, Torah, Tefillah, Tzedakah, and Blessings—through hands-on clay creations, Torah bowling, and a mitzvah bingo challenge.
๐ Tu B’Shevat Tuesday: The girls started exploring the Shivat Haminim and stitched up adorable plush pomegranates.
๐ Wednesday: The kids began crafting star globes as a reminder of Hashem’s promise to Avraham—no pictures this time, but trust us, they’re spectacular!
๐ค๐จ Thursday Science: Our GEO scientists received an urgent message from their robot friend—it tried painting a Tu B’Shevat tree but only had three foaming colors! The kids experimented with mixing colors, painting, and making them foam. A messy, colorful, and totally fun experiment!
